SwiftData is hiring

Come join a small 100% remote team based out of Philadelphia. SwiftData is an established data integration middleware company with an application used by higher ed and enterprise financial services (aka big banks). These schools and businesses rely on us to automate the data workflows between their HR and ERP systems and their door access control and one card systems. We’ve been around for over 7 years and are looking for motivated and entrepreneurial people to join us and help us build the next phase of our company.

This is the perfect workplace for someone who craves autonomy, detests micro-management, and prioritizes the life portion of work-life balance.

We’ve purposefully grown slowly, stayed bootstrapped, and built a profitable business with wide-ranging, long-term customers including Fortune 500 companies and some of the largest universities in the country.

Check out our open positions below. We'd love for you to consider joining our team.

We’re looking for someone who is:

Client Success & Implementation Manager

Responsibilities:

  • An excellent communicator (written and spoken).
  • Strong at managing relationships and solving client problems.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple projects.
  • A logical thinker who enjoys translating fuzzy needs into clear steps.
  • Curious about technical concepts and willing to learn.
  • Own client accounts; act as primary contact.
  • Manage partner communications with leadership support.
  • Define/document DataFlows and collaborate with devs.
  • Manage onboarding projects.
  • Monitor support requests and keep clients informed.
  • Own the client renewal process, coordinating with finance (A/R) as needed.
  • Conduct check-ins, flag risks, and grow into renewals/sales.

We’re looking for someone to be the face of our business to clients and partners, ensuring smooth onboarding, clear communication, and long-term success.

In this role, you’ll have ownership of existing clients and new accounts once sales close—building trust, managing relationships, and smoothing things over when issues arise. You’ll work directly with clients to define and document their business rules (“DataFlows”), which our developers then implement. Onboarding projects, check-ins, and ongoing success will all run through you.

Because many of our clients are colleges and universities, familiarity with higher education workflows—such as student systems, campus ID/access, or dining/point-of-sale—is a strong plus. If you’ve worked in or with higher ed and understand its unique needs, you’ll have a head start in this role.

You don’t need to code, but you must be fluent in technical concepts and eager to learn how our integrations work end-to-end. Comfort running simple SQL checks (we’ll train you) is a bonus. Over time, you’ll take on renewals, upsells, and more partner-facing responsibility.

If you want a role where you’ll have real ownership, variety in your day-to-day, and the chance to grow into client and partner leadership, we’d love to hear from you.

If you'd like to learn more about these opportunities drop us a note and we'll get back to you asap.
